What Have You Done to Pamper Yourself Lately?

When you have RA, taking the time to pamper yourself is vitally important. Stress WILL make your RA worse. No matter how busy you are, take an hour a day to do something just for you. If you are anything like me, it is very hard to do this. It feels wrong. It feels selfish. But it isn’t.

A very good friend of mine used to say, “You can’t pour from an empty pitcher.” How true! If you aren’t taking care of yourself, you will have nothing to give to anyone else.

Take a hot bath.

Read a good book.

Light a candle and meditate.

Pour yourself a cup of herbal tea and enjoy a foot spa.

RELAX!!!
